Ohio ACOFP: AOBFP Update

Ohio ACOFP is hosting a virtual meeting with the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) so members can hear directly from the certifying board. Board Chair John R. Bowling, DO, will provide the update.
One of 18 AOA certifying bodies, AOBFP reviews and approves candidates for examination, administers and evaluates the examinations, and processes the diplomate certificate upon the awarding of that structure by the AOA.
General certification in family medicine is achieved through satisfactory completion of residency training, certifying examination and meeting of all other requirements for specialty certification.
